The New Way to Wear Neutrals for Spring

zoya_Nail_polish_lipstick-whispersLooking to update your manicure look? Lipstick is sharing 6 new ways to get next-level nails this Spring! If you can’t stand the look of chipped nails, Lipstick has you covered. They recommend using Zoya!

“It’s one of those universal truths: Bare nails are better than chipped nails. Zoya’s Whispers collection is an entirely new range of colors devoted to low-saturation neutrals. (What the what?) Low-saturation neutrals are polishes so sheer that you’d have to squint to notice a chip (and they’re technically not all neutrals, but at such light coverage even colors like olive green and azure blue look subdued). You can wear them alone for the ultimate low-maintenance look, or layer them over an opaque base coat like the brand’s Naked Manicure Perfector in Buff for color that’s closer to the bottle.” -Lipstick

The low saturation look is easy to get, and the Whispers collection is specially formulated to work with Naked Manicure to help achieve the look PLUS have a long lasting manicure!

Smartest Hacks for Painting Your Nails

zoya_nail_Polish_popsugar_rachelzoeWith so many new nail looks to try as seen on the runways of New York Fashion Week, there are also a lot of tips and tricks backstage to make painting a breeze. PopSugar is sharing 9 of the smartest hacks that you’ve never heard before!

If you want to master a clean edge on a dark manicure, try using tape! Rachel Zoe opted for a gorgeous medium raspberry shade – Zoya in Riley for her AW16 show. If you’ve ever painted on a deep red shade, you’ll know how frustrating it is to remove stains on your skin when you don’t get that perfectly clean edge.

“If you want to attempt a dark color at home, you can, without the mess. Lead manicurist Sunshine Outing for Zoya told us to just simply use tape on both sides of each nail, then let everything dry well before pulling them off. You’ll have a crisp, clean dark mani in no time!” -PopSugar

Get Marissa Webb’s AW16 Nail Look

zoya_Nail_polish_knockturnal_marissawebbaw16When it comes to nail looks at New York Fashion Week, Marissa Webb dared to be different during her first show. The Knockturnal recently featured the look that celebrity manicurist, Miss Pop created coined “Out of the Box”.

The look uses the Naked Manicure Lavender Perfector, Zoya in Willa, the Glossy Seal top coat, and a nail vinyl sticker.

“It’s a new kind of idea, but it’s happening…I feel like it’s almost counter intuitive that a square or a rectangle would be beautiful on a nail.” She  goes on to say, “it feels so opposite of the shape that we [typically] do on our nails…but there is something that is really elongating, beautiful, simplistic and almost sexy to have the negative space in the middle cut out.” -Miss Pop

Manicures to Copy Now: Negative Space

zoya_Nail_polish_byrdie_marissawebb_aw16

The looks from New York Fashion Week AW16 are in, and one of the hottest trends is this “Out of the Box” look created by Celebrity manicurist, Miss Pop. Byrdie featured the look as part of their list for 11 Stunning Fashion Week Manicures You Can Copy Now.

The look was created for Marissa Webb AW16 using Naked Manicure Lavender Perfector as the base, followed by Zoya in Willa.

“Mega-talented manicurist Miss Pop Nails explains that the inspiration behind this nail look was “out of the box,” in the way that designer Marissa Webb is able to combine masculine and feminine styles. To create the look, one coat of Zoya Lavender Perfector was placed on the base of the nail. Once it dried, Miss Pop placed vinyl sticker bars on the nails (you can use tape for this) to create the center box. Then, over the tape, she painted two coats of Willa across the nail. Finally, she sealed everything off with Glossy Seal” -Byrdie
