There’s nothing like getting a great manicure, to have it chip days later. Allure is here to help by giving you tips in preventing chips plus how to cover them up when they do happen! Julie Kandalec – beauty director at Paint Box recommends a shimmering top coat in times of need.
“If the chips are too big to file away, hide them under a topcoat that has fine glitter, which “covers better than chunky ones,” says Julie Kandalec, creative director at Paintbox. (Try Zoya Sparkle Gloss Topcoat.) And if the chips are near your cuticles, go for a glitter ombreé: Dab the glitter across the bottom of your nail, wipe the brush clean, then use it to drag some of the glitter up.” -Allure
